Biography
Grigory Pryadchenko was born on May 9, 1895 in the Orlik settlement of the Starooskolsky district [1] of the Kursk province (now - Chernyansky district , Belgorod region ). Russian [2] .
He graduated with honors from 4 classes, from the age of 14 he worked as a shoemaker [3] . Soon passed the exams at the Kronstadt Naval School, but was not accepted due to insecurity [3] .
In 1916 he was drafted into the army. He served as a clerk on the outskirts of Stary Oskol [3] .
From November 1917 to May 1919 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Old Oskol County Council (Kursk province) [1] . In 1918, the RSDLP (b) entered. In 1918 he participated in the construction of a sanatorium [3] .
In 1919 he was drafted into the 21st Infantry Regiment of the Third Division of the 13th Army of the Red Army ; participated in many military operations [3] , from May 1919 to July 1921 - commissar of the regiment [1] .
Since July 1921 he worked in the Executive Committee of the Kursk Provincial Council [3] [4] [5] ; from August 23, 1923 to April 30, 1925 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kursk Provincial Council [1] [3] [4] [5] .
From September 1925 to April 1927, a member of the small SNK of the RSFSR [1] .
From April 1927 to 1928, he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Tambov Provincial Council [1] .
From 1928 to 1929, he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Tambov District Council [1] .
From February 1929 to January 1930, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Central Black Earth Regional Council [1] .
From January 1930 to April 4, 1931, the chairman of the small SNK of the RSFSR [1] .
In 1931 he became chairman of the press affairs committee at the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR [1] .
From October 14, 1931 to October 1935, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Northern Regional Council [1] .
In 1934 he became the head and commissioner of the division of Latvian riflemen [6] .
From October 1935 to July 1937, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kharkov Regional Council [1] [7] .
Since June 3, 1937 [8] - a member of the Central Committee of the CP (b) of Ukraine [1] (excluded 4.7.1937 [9] ). He was a member of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the 13th convocation (1927-1929) [10] , a member of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR of the 4th convocation (1927-1929) [11] . He was elected a delegate to the V All-Russian Congress of Soviets (1918, from Stary Oskol) [12] , the XV Congress of the CPSU (b) [13] , and the XVII Party Conference [14] .
In June 1937, the head of the NKVD went to Grigory Pryadchenko for dinner and took him with him. Later, in July 1937, he was arrested as a member of an anti-Party terrorist organization; convicted on October 1 and executed on October 2, 1937 in Kharkov [1] [7] .
Rehabilitated February 22 in 1956 [15] .
Family
Wife - Glafira Vasilyevna Pryadchenko (Mernikova; 1896–27.02.1976), singer of the Kharkov Radio Committee. Arrested in 1937, was in a Tomsk prison [3] ; released in 1943 [6] . Rehabilitated February 22, 1956 [16] .
Son - Boris G. Pryadchenko (born 1925), Deputy Minister of Engineering for the light and food industries and household appliances of the USSR (1975 - 1987) [17] .
Memory
- In honor of Grigory Pryadchenko, one of the main streets of the city is named in Stary Oskol.
- A memorial plaque was installed on the office building of the creamery along Pryadchenko Street in Stary Oskol.
- The main street of Orlik village is named after the famous native of the village.
