Biography
Lidush Khabib was born on May 2, 1963 in the city of Khorog in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan .
He is considered [by whom? ] the first Pamirian performer of bardic music , the distinguishing feature of which is the combination of the author of the music, the text and the performer in one person, the guitar accompaniment, the priority of the significance of the text over the music.
After graduating from Samara State University in the mid- 80s of the last century, Lidush returned to his homeland, where he began his career as a Russian-speaking journalist in the newspaper Badakhshoni Soveti.
While still studying at a Russian university, he began to compose and sing his first songs in the Shugnan-Rushan language to the accompaniment of a guitar.
Along with the lyric songs , where he mainly sang love for the motherland , in Lidush’s work, his uncompromising civic position and indifferent to what was happening around him took a special place, for which he was disliked by the authorities.
