It is part of the Krasnaya Polyana rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Niginsky village council.
The distance to the regional center of Nikolsk by road is 28 km. The nearest settlements are Karnysh , Ivantets , Eremkin .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 183 people (88 men, 95 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (98%) [2] .
