Born on September 6, 1947 in Riga . [one]
In 1974 he graduated from the historical and philological faculty of the University of Friendship of Peoples . [1] [2]
In 1977 - graduate school of the Institute of Africa, Academy of Sciences of the USSR . [one]
In 1978 he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor . [one]
In 1992, at the Institute of Asian and African Countries, Moscow State University, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic "The ideology of national liberation in British West Africa (30s - early 60s of the 20th century)." [one]

Professor of the Department of the History of the Ancient World and Middle Ages of Kuban State University . He taught courses: the history of the countries of Asia and Africa in the Middle Ages; spiritual culture of the peoples of Asia and Africa; latest theories of the historical process.
At present, he is a professor at the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Diplomacy of the Kuban State University . [2]
