Gameplay
The heroes of the game - newspaper deliverymen - need to deliver a certain number of newspapers to subscribers.
The game consists of several levels built using rectangular isometric projection . Levels are streets where various obstacles and useful objects are encountered.
Enemies in the game - a variety of obstacles (passers-by, cars, open sewer manholes, etc.) and opponents attacking the character. Collision with an opponent leads to the loss of life, and the player starts the game from the moment of the last collision; after the loss of all lives, the level begins anew. Some of the opponents can be immobilized using newspapers. Newspapers are replenished during the course of the level.
The game has several differences from the previous part . In particular, a player can choose between two characters, whereas previously one character was available. Also, it became possible to distribute the ordered newspapers on both sides of the hero, and not on one, as in the prequel.
Ratings
The game received mostly average ratings. For example, Power Unlimited magazine rated the version for Game Gear at 7.8 out of 10, the websites The Video Game Critic and All Game Guide rated SNES for C and 3 out of 5. Power Play reviewers rated versions for DOS and Game Boy at 34 and 33 points out of 100. Among the advantages of the game were named graphic design and gameplay; while among the shortcomings, critics noted the character’s animation and inconvenient controls, which complicated the gameplay [3] .
