Crinolidia (lat.) - a genus of jumping insects from the family of cicadas ( Cicadellidae ). South America . Length 8-9 mm (females are larger). Scutellum large, its length is approximately equal to the length of pronotum . The head is large (rounded in front), pronote already; forehead wide and short. Eyes and ocelli are relatively large; eyes elongated ovoid. Clypeus is long and wide. Aedeagus asymmetrical, long, narrow. Similar in habit with Clypeolidia , differing in details of the structure of the genitals. The genus is included in the subfamily Coelidiinae [1] .
