Antonins ( lat. Antonini , in honor of the agnomene Antoninus Pius ) - the third since the beginning of the principality of the Roman imperial dynasty , which ruled from 96 to 192 .
The first representative - Mark Koktsey Nerva , all other representatives, with his exception, were from provincial nobility. The distinctive features of the Antonins were a very good relationship with the Senate, with the heredity of power (usually by adoption; only Commodus was the native son of the predecessor, and his rule was catastrophic) with the frequent presence of co-rulers. The first five members of the dynasty in this regard were informally called " good emperors ."
