Africoelidia (lat.) Is a genus of jumping insects from the family of tsikadok ( Cicadellidae ). Afrotropika . Length 7-9 mm (females are larger). Scutellum large, its length is equal to or greater than the length of pronotum . The head is subconical, distinctly pronotar. The eyes are relatively large. Clypeus is long and wide. Aedeagus with 1-2 short spines. Similar in habit with Lupola , differing in the details of the structure of the genitals. Previously included in the subfamily Coelidiinae [1] .
