Tirade

Tirada ( French tirade from Italian. Tirata - extension) is a short and strong monologue in drama , a long phrase pronounced in high tone, distinguished by its sonorousness and designed for external success [1] [2] .

Due to the fragile connection with the development of the action of the drama, and presenting as if an extraneous element, the tirade met with the ancient, strictly adhering to the principle of unity of action ("semper ad eventum festinat" - always in a hurry to denouement), condemnation; however, they found a place in the oratory of the ancient parabase [1] .

The French tragedy, imbued with a rhetorical element, is filled with brilliant tirades, giving the author the opportunity to show new sides of his talent, the artist - his art of recitation, the audience - to meet a sonorous general place that meets his needs, sympathetic applause [1] .
