About the album
As Agneta herself says, “The project was made possible thanks to my friend. She called me and said that Jörgen Elofsson and Peter Nordal would like to introduce their music to me. They came to my house, played 3 songs for me, and I thought: “Oh God, I have to do it!” It was so exciting. ” [1]
10 songs were recorded for the album, all of them were written with the participation of Jørgen Elofsson.
Songs
The first single for the album - " When You Really Loved Someone ", was released on March 11, 2013 as a digital download, later, on April 15, as a CD and then, in May, on a 7 "vinyl record. The song was shot in early February 2013 video clip.
In Germany and Austria, the first single was released the song "The One Who Loves You Now" on March 11, 2013.
The song "I Should've Followed You Home" is a duet with Gary Barlow ( Gary Barlow ) from the British band That That . However, the vocals of both performers were recorded separately, on different days. During the recording of Gary, Agneta was on leave [1] "I Was a Flower" - a dramatic ballad recorded with the participation of keyboards and stringed instruments. This song became available for download on April 22 in the British Amazon. Also on Amazon you can purchase the Orchestral version of the song.
“I Keep Them on the Floor Beside My Bed” is the first song that Agneta herself wrote (and published) since the release of the single “ I Won't Let You Go ” in 1985 for the album Eyes of a Woman - and B-sided “ You're There. " Agneta said: “Jörgen kept repeating: You have to write a song for this album! I haven’t written music for many years, but when I sat down at the piano I suddenly wrote this song. A friend told me," This is in your blood, even if you you feel tired when the right moment comes, the song will be born. " [1]
Other songs on the album: “Bubble”, which describes Agneta’s attitude to fame, disco song “Dance Your Pain Away”, “Back on Your Radio” and “Past Forever”. [one]
