Podlesnoye ( Kaz. Podlesnoye ) is a village in the Tayynshinsky district of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Letovochny rural district. It is located about 49 km west-south-west (WSW) from the city of Taiynsha , the administrative center of the district, at an altitude of 211 meters above sea ​​level [1] . Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 569 people (278 men and 291 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 363 people lived in the village (185 men and 178 women) [3] .

History

The village was founded in 1936 for special settlers from persons of German and Polish nationalities deported from Volyn [4] .
