It is part of the Zhodishkovsky village council [3] .
Located in the northern part of the district. The distance to the regional center of Smorgon by road is about 14.5 km, to the center of the village council of the agricultural town of Zhodishki in a straight line, a little less than 10.5 km. The nearest settlements are Birch , Goridenyaty , Sosnovka [4] . The area occupied is 0.0520 km², the length of the borders is 2270 m [5] .
According to the census, the population of the farm in 1999 totaled 6 people [6] .
A local highway N7962 Goridenyaty - Chernyaty passes through the farm [7] .
Not far from Chernyat there is a cemetery of participants of the First World War [8] .
The farm is located on the territory of the Martishki landscape-geomorphological reserve.
