Jan (Ivan) Buchatsky (c. 1400 - between February 19, 1451 - May 25, 1454 ) - Polish gentry of the coat of arms of Abdank , Terebovl’s headman (from 1441 ), representative of the Buchatsky family.

Biography
The eldest son of the governor of Podolsk, Mikhail Buchatsky, from Podgaets (d. 1438 ) and Elzhbety from Yarychev and Knyaginichev .
After the death of his father in the battle with the Tatars in 1438, Jan, together with his young brothers and his widow mother, was taken into the care of his uncles, governor of Podolsk, Mikhail “Muzhilo” Buchatsky (until 1444 ) and the Galician chestnut Jan Knyaginitsky (until 1445 ). In 1441, in Galich, he issued a letter in which he undertook to pay the governor of Russia Peter Odrovonzh 300 hryvnia. When he came of age, he took custody of the brothers.
Since March 1441 - the headman of Terebolovskiy , participated in the meetings of the Sanotsky court. As a lay judge is mentioned in the notes of the Lviv courts in 1440 - 1456 . In 1448, during the division of his father’s inheritance, Jan Bučacki received the possession of the village of Biblo and Litvinov in the Galician district. In 1448 he issued a permit for the construction of a church in Litvinov .
He was married to Yadvig from Berezhany , from a marriage with whom he had a son and daughter:

- Anna Buchatskaya, wife of the Beltzian cashtel Derslav from Govnov
