Biography
Fleeing the dictatorial regime of Sekou Toure , in 1969 fled to Senegal , then to Côte d'Ivoire . In 1973 he came to France, defended his thesis on biochemistry at the University of Lyon . He taught in Morocco and Algeria . Visiting Professor at Middlebury College ( Vermont , USA).
As a writer, he debuted in 1979 . Lives in France.
