Biography
Born on December 14, 1970 in Derem (County Norfolk , England , UK ) in the family of architectural draftsman and artist and politician. In 1981, Beth's parents divorced and she, along with her two brothers, remained with her mother. Orton's father died shortly after divorcing his wife [1] [2] , and her mother died of cancer in 1989 [3] .
Career
She began her musical career in 1993 and by 2012 released six studio music albums:
- Superpinkymandy (1993)
- Trailer Park (1996)
- Central Reservation (1999)
- Daybreaker (2002)
- Comfort of Strangers (2006)
- Sugaring Season (2012).
In 2001, Beth played the role of Rocket in the movie Soflender: The Diary of a Desperate Musician. In 2006-2012, Orton appeared in two episodes of the show “ Later show of David Letterman ".
Personal life
In the 2000s, she was actually married. In these respects, Orton gave birth to her first child - daughter Nancy (born in December 2006). Since 2011, married to musician Sam Emidon (b.1981). In this marriage, Orton gave birth to her second child - the son of Arthur Emidon (born 2011) [4] .
