The Red Book of the Stavropol Territory is an official document containing a set of information on the status, distribution and protection measures of rare and endangered species (wild subspecies , populations ) of wild animals and wild plants and mushrooms that live (growing) in the Stavropol Territory .

Edition
The Red Book of the Stavropol Territory was established in 2000 [1] . The first edition was published in 2002 in two volumes and in 2003 a supplement was published. The list of flora and fauna objects was approved in 2010 and includes [2] : 5 species of mushrooms, 203 species of plants, 163 species of animals, as well as a list of 27 plants and 23 animals that need protection and are recommended for inclusion in the Red Book of the Stavropol Territory.
