History
According to the 1897 census , 162 people lived in the village (71 men and 91 women). [2]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Gagarin volost of the Vetluzh district of the Kostroma province. According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 27 peasant households and 176 inhabitants in the village. In the village there were two windmills and a forge. The main occupation of the villagers was forestry. [2]
