The Diocese of Douitama-Sogamoso ( lat. Dioecesis Duitamensis-Sogamosensis ) is the diocese of the Roman Catholic Church with its center in the city of Duitama , Colombia . The diocese of Douitama-Sogamoso is included in the metropolis of Tunja . The Cathedral of the Djuitama-Sogamoso Diocese is the Church of the Infant Jesus.

Content
History
On March 7, 1955, Pope Pius XII issued a bullet “Idem ardens” , which established the Diocese of Douitama, isolating it from the diocese of Tunja (today the archdiocese). On June 20, 1964, the diocese of Douitama entered the metropolis of Tunja.
On July 9, 1987, the Diocese Diocese transferred part of its territory to form a new Malaga-Soata .
On June 4, 1994, the Dwittami Diocese was renamed Dwitama Soat Diocese.
On October 29, 1999, the Doutama Soat diocese transferred part of its territory to form a new diocese of Yopal .
