Biography
At the start of his football career, Ismaily played for the Ivignema youth team, as well as for the Brazilian Desportivo Brazil and San Bento clubs. In 2009, the 19-year-old defender went to Portugal, where he was offered a contract by the Estoril club . In the 2009/10 season, he showed a fairly high-quality game, taking part in 30 matches of the second division, which attracted the attention of several clubs of Primera.
In the summer of 2010, Ismaily joined the Alliance . Two years later, during which the player spent 42 matches, scoring 2 goals, he moved to Braga . In the 2012/13 Champions League playoff match, Ismaily hit the goal of the Italian Udinese from 30 meters, making the score 1: 1. As a result, Braga managed to enter the group stage, where the game of the Brazilian attracted the attention of representatives of Donetsk Shakhtar.
On February 14, 2013, Ismaily was officially introduced as a player at Shakhtar. The transfer amount was 4 million euros. The debut for Shakhtar took place on May 19, 2013 in the match against Zaporizhzhya Metallurg , in which Ismaily opened an account in 33 minutes.
