Komarovsky is a village in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan , on the Keltechinar River, about 25 km southeast of the city of Ashgabat . It is located in the mountains of Kopetdag in a small valley formed by the river.

History
It was founded in 1894 by immigrants from the Tambov, Samara and Penza provinces [1] . Named most likely in honor of General Komarov A.V. . In 1910, the population was 42 people.
In Soviet times, the frontier post was located.
