Geography
The village is located 7 km east of the city of Murovan-Goslin on the territory of the Pushcha Zelenka landscape park . Near the village is the lake Glembochek and the Troyanka River.
History
The first mention of the village dates back to 1368. In the first centuries of its existence, the village had different names Glembodzets, Mnishek, Ksenza-Borek and Obrochne. In 1453, the village is referred to as the property of Peter from the Glembochek coat of arms of Lodz . In 1458, the village received city law. In 1580, Glembochek lost the status of a city. In 1793-1807 and 1815-1981, the village was part of the Kingdom of Prussia .
From 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Poznan Voivodeship.
Attractions
- At 500 meters from the village there is the ancient settlement Pańsk Dwor (Panski Dvor).
- A memorial stone about giving the village urban status in 1458.
Tourism
A horse-drawn hiking trail begins in the village, passing through the Klyashtorn-Modzheve nature reserve.
