Biography
Representative of the Lithuanian magnate Khodkevich family of the coat of arms “ Koscierzha ”, son of the Trochel’s chestnut Yuri (Jerzy) Khodkevich ( 1524 - 1569 ) and Sofia Olelkovich (d. 1571 ).
In 1588, Jerome Yurievich Khodkevich received the position of the equestrian great Lithuanian, and in 1593 he became governor of Mstislavl . In 1595, he was appointed cough of Vilnius and headman of Berestey .
He participated in the wars of the Commonwealth with the Russian state and Sweden . During the Rokosh Nikolai Zebrzydowski ( 1606 - 1609 ) he provided support to the King and Grand Duke Sigismund III Vase in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania .
He was married four times. Around 1582, he married Princess Bogdan Alexander Polubinska with his first marriage, from whom he had a single daughter:
- Sofia Khodkevich, wife of Podskarbia of the outward Lithuanian Pavel Volovich .
Until 1594, he married Anna Tarlo again, from whom he had two sons and five daughters:
- Jan Jerome Hodkevich (d. 1618 ), the great capital of Lithuania

From the third marriage with Dorothea Rey and the fourth marriage with Sofia Korbacheva (d. 1635 ) did not leave offspring.
On August 29, 1617, Kastelan of Vilnius, Jerome Khodkevich died, was buried in Brest .
