Biography
In July 2008, Dzurina Matsui took part in auditions for the group SKE48 and became one of 22 girls who were selected. October 5, 2008 the group debuted.
In the same 2008 Dzurina took part in the recording of the single “Oogoe Diamond” of the group AKB48. Dzurina not only sang in AKB48, but also occupied one of the five main positions in the choreography for the title song and played a prominent role in the music video. At that time she was only 11 years old. Since then, Dzurina, being formally part of SKE48, has also participated in AKB48 records.
March 25, 2012 at a concert of the group AKB48 in the hall “Saitama Super Arena” Dzurina unexpectedly left the stage in the middle of the song. She was diagnosed with "dizziness from anemia and excessive exertion," and was hospitalized for several days. As the concert manager said, by that time, for several months already, there had been information about Dzurina’s poor physical condition, but she said “I don’t want a break at all.” After this incident, Dzurina for some time did not speak. Producer AKB48 and SKE48 Yasushi Akimoto announced that he had allowed her to take a break until she regained her strength, without time limits [1] [2] .
In the regular elections of AKB48, which were held in May-June 2012, Dzurina took 9th place with 45,747 votes [3] [4] .
