Ivanovo - the village of the Nazarovsky rural district of the Nazarovsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .
The village is located in the center of the rural settlement, north of the road leading from Rybinsk to Tutaev (on the left bank of the Volga ) and directly from the northwest of the center of the rural settlement, Nazarovo . The village stands at a distance of about 500 m from the road and 2 km from the banks of the Volga. The village stands on the right, western right bank of a small nameless stream, lost in a sandy quarry located to the south. This stream separates Ivanovskoe from Nazarovo. On the opposite side of the stream, upstream stands the village of Oborino . To the west of the village there is a vast field bounded by a road running along the edge of the city of Rybinsk to the village of Maysky , which is located about 3 km away in the upper reaches of the mentioned stream [2] .
The village is indicated on the general survey plan of the Rybinsk district of 1792 as Seltso, which is now the village of Ivanovskaya . There, the stream flowing through the village is called Khreshovka and it flows into the Volga.
As of January 1, 2007, there were 25 permanent residents in the village [3] . A post office located in the center of the rural settlement of Nazarovo serves 24 houses in the village [4] .
