Will Edward Perdue ( born William August 29, 1965 , Melbourne , Florida ) - former American basketball player , four-time NBA champion: 1991, 1992 and 1993 as part of the Chicago Bulls and 1999 years as part of the San Antonio Spurs . He is currently a basketball commentator and analyst at ESPN [1] .

Career
He began to play basketball at Meritt Island School ( Florida ). [2] At college level, he played for Vanderbilt Komodors , where in 1988 he became the player of the year at the Southeast Conference and the Athlete of the Year. [3] In the 1988 draft, he was selected under the overall 11th number by the Chicago Bulls team. From 1991 to 1993, he won three NBA champion titles in the Bulls, mainly being the second center team after Bill Cartwright . Started regularly in the starting lineup in the 1994–95 season, scored an average of 8 points per match and made 6.7 rebounds. However, with the appearance of Luc, Longley again became the second center, and before the start of the next season, the team exchanged him at San Antonio Spurs for Dennis Rodman . [4] In 1999, as part of the “spurs,” Purdue won the fourth NBA title. [five]
In August 1999, Purdue returned to the Chicago Bulls as a free agent. In the 1999–2000 season, he entered the starting lineup in 15 of 67 matches, gaining an average of 2.5 points and making 3.9 rebounds. At the end of the 2000 season, Purdue left the team and signed a contract with Portland , where he scored 1.3 points, made 1.4 rebounds in 4.5 minutes on the floor. [5] Over 13 seasons in the NBA, an average player scored 4.7 points and made 4.9 rebounds. [6]
