It is part of the Kichmengsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the center of the Pyzhugsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Kichmengsky Gorodok is 7 km by road. The nearest settlements are Lobanovo , Podgorka , Zhukovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 309 people (158 men, 151 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
