It is part of the Kichmengsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - in Pyzhugsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Kichmengsky Gorodok is 10 km by road. The nearest settlements are Podvolochye , Zhukovo , Zasosenie .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 28 people (13 men, 15 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (96%) [2] .
