It is part of the Gorodetsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 1, 2013 was the center of the Zakharovsky rural settlement ) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative and territorial division - the center of the Zakharovsky Village Council.
The distance to the district center of Kichmengsky Gorodok by road is 18 km. The nearest populated areas are Kuftino , Byakovo , Tokarevo , Nizhnyaya Lukina Gora , Zakharovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 250 people (130 men, 120 women). The entire population is Russian [3] .
