History

The village was founded in 1936 for special settlers from persons of German and Polish nationalities deported from Volyn [3] .

Population

In 1999, the population of the village was 1803 people (883 men and 920 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 1484 people lived in the village (729 men and 755 women) [4] .
