Located on the banks of the river Lozhkomoyki. [2]
History
According to the Lists of the inhabited places of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 2nd camp of the Vetluzh district of the Kostroma province . There were 11 yards in it , 38 men and 47 women lived. [3]
According to the 1897 census , 102 people lived in the village (42 men and 60 women). [2]
According to the List of Populated Places of the Kostroma Province in 1907, the village belonged to the Odoevsk-Spirinsky volost of the Vetluzh district of the Kostroma province. According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 22 peasant households and 133 residents in the village. The main occupation of the villagers was forestry. [2]
