Dziewicz-Góra ( Polish. Dziewicza Góra ) is a hill in the commune of Červonák of the Poznan county of the Greater Poland Voivodeship , Poland . The highest peak of the landscape park is “Pushcha-Zelenka” .

Geography
Dzevich-Gur Hill is located in the Pushcha-Zielonka Landscape Park and is its highest peak. The height of the hill is 144.9 meters. The hill is the second highest of the Poznań hilly system and is located on the border of the Gniezna Highlands and the Vshesinskaya Plain.
History
The hill was originally called “Dziewcza Góra”. This name is derived from the name of the female monastic order of the Cistercians , whom the Polish king Pshemysl I transferred to the hill in 1242. On the slopes of the hill inhabited by an insect Polish Koshin (Porphyrophora polonica). This insect was brought here by nuns for the production of carmine . The name of the nearby settlement Chervonak comes from this production.
After the fire of 1992, when 250 hectares of forest burnt out, a fire watchtower was built on top of a hill in 2005. In addition to its immediate destination, the observation tower is used as an overview by tourists of the surroundings. The width of the concrete tower at its base is 40 meters. The height of the observation tower is 33 meters. At the level of 30 meters there is an observation deck, from which you can see the city of Poznan .
Description
The hill is covered with a mixed forest and is a natural protected area managed by the forestry “Uroczyska Puszczy Zielonki”. In some areas, oak stands are in the last phase of growth. On the hill grow about 700 species of plants and 130 species of mosses, characteristic of mountain, forest, meadow and steppe conditions. By its structure, the forest represents a sample of the primitive forest .
