Khoikhoia anthelion ( lat. ) Is a species of parasitic stalky bellied hymenoptera from the family of braconids ( Khoikhoiinae ). South Africa : Cape Region South Africa (Western Cape, Kogelberg Nature Reserve).

Length about 7 mm. Antenna flagellum consists of 29-30 flagellomers. The general body color is black; part of the abdomen (tergite I), chest (posterior superior corners of the pronotum), legs and head (cheeks) - tan. Clypeus with a protruding tooth in the middle of the front edge. The species was described in 2009 by the American entomologist Michael Sharkey (Department of Entomology, University of Kentucky , Lexington , Kentucky ). The name of the species Khoikhoia anthelion comes from the Greek word Anthelion ( anthele ), meaning a bunch of bristles that are found in the ovipositor [1] .
