Biography and career
Holland was born in Dallas , Texas in the family of a doctor [4] [5] . At the age of six, she became interested in the history of the royal family, Princess Diana, often portraying her [5] - this prompted her parents to enroll her daughter in acting classes. She studied for two and a half years in preparatory medical courses at the University of California , after which she switched to other sciences [5] [6] .
Roden's debut was the role of Bronwyn in the HBO series "12 Miles of Bad Roads", which closed before the premiere of [7] [2] . In 2008, the actress got the role of Emily Lock in the cult TV series Lost [8] . She also starred as Skylar in the next episode of the film “ Achieve Success: Fight to the End!” " [9] . This was followed by guest roles in the series "CSI", "Detective Rush", "Datura", "Community" and "Think Like a Criminal" [4] .
June 5, 2011 the premiere of the television series " Teen Wolf " channel MTV , where the actress plays the role of Lydia Martin. This role was retained for her in the continuation seasons in 2012 and 2013 [10] . Between the filming of the show, Roden appeared in the series Anatomy of Passion and Memphis Beat. In 2012, the painting “House of Dust” was released with her participation [11] .
For two consecutive years - in 2012 and 2013 - the actress was the presenter of the MTV Movie Awards on the red carpet [7] . In 2013, Rodin, along with other actors of the series “Teen Wolf” was awarded the prize “ Young Hollywood ” in the nomination “Best Acting Ensemble” [12] .
