Anton Igorevich Zaslavsky (born September 2, 1989 , Saratov [3] ) is a German DJ and music producer of Russian origin, known under the stage name Zedd [4] [5] . Winner of the Grammy Music Award in 2014 in the nomination “ Best Dance Record ” for the song “ Clarity ”, performed jointly with the British singer Foxes [6] [7] [8] .

Biography
Anton Zaslavsky was born in Saratov in a family of musicians [13] , and received a classical musical education [14] , starting from four years of age studying music in the piano class.
At the age of three, Anton and his family as a refugee of Jewish nationality moved to the German city of Kaiserslautern [6] , where he spent his childhood and youth [15] .
At the age of twelve, he became involved in playing the drums. Together with his brother Arkady, he became a member of the rock band Dioramic, founded in Kaiserslautern in 2002 [6] .
He developed an interest in electronic music seven years later, after he heard the album † of the French electro-punk duo Justice [16] . In 2009, Anton Zaslavsky himself began to write electronic music .
In 2011, Anton Zaslavsky released the single "Dovregubben", written by him in the style of an electro-house . This composition immediately soared to the top of the music charts [6] .
Anton Zaslavsky currently lives in Los Angeles . He has already managed to work with such world stars as Katy Perry , Lady Gaga , Skrilex , Haley Williams , Selena Gomez , Kesha , Ariana Grande , Sean Mendes , Troy Sivan , Liam Payne and others.
