Rodnikovy ( Adyg. Psynekkhech [2] ) is a village in the Republic of Adygea . The city district “Maykop city” is part of the municipality.

Content
Geography
The village is located in the central part of the Maykop urban district, at the source of the Psipce-Kelermes river. It is located 10 km north-west of the city of Maykop and 12 km south-east of the city of Belorechensk , opposite the village of Khan, which is remote from the federal highway A-160 and the railway line " Belorechenskaya - Maykop - Hadzhokh ", North Caucasian Railway the roads. 500 meters to the southeast is the Khanskaya airfield.
The area of the settlement was established by resolution N240 of 04/20/2011 [3] and amounts to 3.36 km 2 .
The nearest settlements are Khan's in the west, Rodniki and Vostochny in the northwest, Kosinov in the northeast, Podgorny in the east, Zapadny and Maykop in the southeast and Haverdovsky in the south.
The village is located on the Zakuban inclined plain, in the foothill zone of the republic. The average altitude in the village is 179 meters above sea level. The terrain consists mainly of undulating plains with a general slope from the southwest to the northeast, with hilly and mound hills.
The hydrographic network is mainly represented by the Psipce-Kelermes River . Also in the vicinity of the village there are many artificial reservoirs used for various purposes.
The climate in the hamlet is humid and temperate (Dfa) . The average annual air temperature is positive and amounts to about + 11.5 ° С. The average monthly air temperature in July reaches + 23.0 ° С. The average monthly temperature in January is about 0 ° C. The average annual rainfall is about 750 mm. Most precipitation falls from May to July.
History
In the early 1930s, on the site of a modern village, the state farm of the regional Ptitsetrest was created. The first settlers at the settlement site at the state farm were the Bukhanovs, Shelekhovs and Belikovs [4] . In the post-war period, a branch No. 2 of the Maykop breeding poultry farm was created on the basis of the state farm.
On December 23, 1958, at the initiative of the Adygea Oblast Executive Committee, the Krasnodar Territory Executive Committee, the village at the poultry farm was officially registered with the assignment of the name Rodnikovy.
December 26, 1977 the village was included in the Western Village Council of Maykop District [5] .
On February 20, 1986, as part of the Western Village Council, it was transferred from Maykop District to the jurisdiction of Maykop City Council.
On August 18, 1992, with the abolition of the Western Village Council, the village of Rodnikovy was transferred to the Khan Village Council ( later the rural district ) of the Maykop City Administration [6] .
Since 2000, as part of the Maykop Republican Urban District , endowed with the status of a municipality in 2005.
On April 16, 2003, the Khan rural district was abolished and the village of Rodnikovy was transferred directly to the administration of the Maykop city district , with the formation of local territorial public self-government ( TOS ) on its territory.
