Biography
She was born on August 20, 1908 in the village of Kefalovka of the Russian Empire, now the city of Dolinskaya, Kirovograd region of Ukraine, in the family of a railway engineer, a hereditary intellectual - Andrei Ksaverievich Lengauer. Mother - Olga Markovna Lengauer.
After graduating from the seven-year school in Odessa, from 1924 she worked as a technical laboratory assistant at Zhmerynka station. In 1927 she entered the Kiev Medical College. Then she continued her studies at the Kiev Medical Institute at the Faculty of Dentistry, which she graduated in 1934 .
In 1927, Natalia Lengauer began working as a laboratory assistant at the Kiev Central Ambulance Station. In 1948, she headed the station and worked at it until 1975 .
Natalya Andreevna achieved the creation of specialized ambulance teams - psychiatric, neurological, toxicological. For the first time in the USSR, she organized a specialized thromboembolic brigade, traveling on calls for a heart attack , which significantly reduced mortality from this disease.
Under her leadership, the station turned into an advanced medical institution not only in Kiev , but also in the USSR. People came here to learn and learn from many cities of Ukraine, the Union and other countries. Since 1960, the Kiev ambulance station becomes the Republican, and since 1965 - the All-Union School of Excellence. [one]
She died on February 10, 1997, at the 89th year of her life, and was buried in Kiev at the Lukyanovsky cemetery (plot No. 20).

- Hero of Socialist Labor (1969).
- Honored Doctor of the Ukrainian SSR (1950).
- Certificate of honor of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR .
Memory
- On the facade of the ambulance building where she worked, a memorial plaque was installed in 2001 .
- The Golden Star of the Hero, as well as some personal belongings of N.A. Langauer stored in the museum of the Kiev ambulance station. [2]
