From July 6 to 26, 1935, a football tournament was held in the USSR among national teams of the cities of the USSR.

The Moscow team won the competition for the fourth and last time. Starting next year, the tournament of national teams of cities and union republics was replaced by the USSR football championship , held among club teams of societies and departments of the USSR.

The championship was attended by 59 teams. The first group was attended by 6 teams, where the winner was identified in the single-round championship. In the second group, 51 teams played, divided into 8 bushes on a territorial basis. The winners of the bushes were determined by the Olympic system. [1] .
