Chkalovo ( trek. Chkalovo ) - a village in the Taiynshinsky district of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Chkalovsky rural district. It is located about 48 km southeast of the city of Taiynsha , the administrative center of the district, at an altitude of 167 meters above sea level [1] . The KATO code is 596073100 [2] .

The highway A-13 " Kokshetau - Bidayyk (Kazakh-Russian border)" runs near the village.
History
The village was founded in 1932 and was originally called Blucherovo. In 1936, 13 new settlements from the special settlers of the Zhytomyr region, the so-called points, appeared on the territory of the former Chkalovsky district, the former Kokchetav region. 12 point is the village of Chkalovo.
From the moment of its foundation, Chkalovo was part of various regions, and from 1965 to May 2, 1997 it was the district center of the Chkalovo district, Kokchetav region. Now the village is part of the Taiynshinsky district, North Kazakhstan region. The village was most developed in the 60-80 years of the XX century, when various regional organizations opened on its territory and previously opened ones expanded: since 1942 the Chkalov State Agricultural Inspectorate functioned to monitor, determine the sowing qualities of various crops sown, and monitor grain storage. [3] In 1939, Chkalovo received its modern name. Until 1997, the village was the administrative center of the Chkalovsky district [4] .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 4021 people (1996 men and 2025 women) [5] . According to the 2009 census , 3274 people lived in the village (1599 men and 1675 women) [5] .
