Story

Polly Nelson works in the selection committee of a prestigious university, she is the arbiter of the fate of many teenagers. But how to arrange your own destiny? The appearance of an ideal man does not promise peace and quiet at all, on the contrary, it brings a lot of stupid situations and not always pleasant surprises to her life. Production

The film is directed by Paul Weitz , known for his work on About a Boy , based on a novel of the same name by Jean Hanff Korelitz . The film was partly shot at Princeton University , and partly at Manhattanville College in New York State [1] . The trailer for the film was released on November 20, 2012 [2] , and the film itself was released on March 22, 2013.

Reviews

Exam for two received mixed reviews from critics. The rating on Rotten Tomatoes was 38%, based on 143 reviews, with the final conclusion of the site: “The Exam for two has a couple of very nice roles performed by Tina Fei and Paul Rudd, but they spend their talent on a contrived (and awkwardly directed) scenario” [3] . Metacritic gave a 48% average rating based on 39 reviews, based on “mixed or average reviews” [4] .
