Ukri ( Latvian: Ukri ) is a settlement in the southern part of Latvia , located in the Ukr parish of the Autonomous Region on the border with Lithuania . Until July 1, 2009, it was part of the Dobele district .

It is the center of Ukr volost. The distance to Dobele is 49 km [1] . According to data for 2015, 162 people lived in the village [2] .
History
The settlement appeared on the lands that previously belonged to the Ukrsky estate.
In Soviet times, the locality was the center of the Ukrsky Village Council of the Auza District , and then - the Dobele District. The central estate of the Ukri state farm was located in the village [1] .
In Ukri there are: a shop, a library, a paramedic, a post office [3] .
