Overview
At the center of the series is a middle-class family of McCullough, who lives in a suburb of Glen Ridge, California. McCullough are the owners of Lassie's pet. The couple, in fact, Christopher and Dee Wallace-Stone played the parents of Will Chris and Dee McCullough, and Will Estes (named Will Nipper) and Wendy Cox appear in the roles of Megan's son and daughter, respectively. John Provost, who starred in the original series, Lassie , starred as Steve McCullough, brother of Chris; in the last episode, it was said that it was an adult Timmy Martin, in that episode, June Lockhart participated in the role of Timmy Ruth Martin's adoptive mother as a guest star. In an episode called Roots, Timmy says that he was never officially adopted by the Martins, and therefore could not go with them to Australia when they moved there (at the beginning of season 11 of the original Lassie series). He was subsequently adopted by the McCullough family, and began living under his middle name Stephen (Steve). [one]
Collie, featured in Lassie's New Adventures, was the sixth generation of Lassie. The dog was trained by Robert Weatherwox, son of Radd Weatherwox, who trained the first Lessi. [2]

Guest Stars
Guest stars from past Lassie films included guest stars Roddy MacDowell , who starred in the first film, “ Lassie Returns Home ” (1943), and Tommy Rettig , who played Jeff Miller in the first seasons of the original television series (later called the Collie Jeff syndication). Other invited stars were then still young and unknown Leonardo DiCaprio and Diff'rent Strokes star Todd Bridges.
