Judicherry Square (metro station)

Judiciary Square is the underground station of the Washington metro on the Red Line . This is one of the first 5 metro stations. It is represented by two side platforms. The station is served by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority . Located in Judichery Square with two exits on 4th Street and D Street and 5th Street and E Street, Washington's Northwest Quadrant . Exit on 4th Street and D Street is closed on weekends. Exit on 5th Street and E Street leads to the National Memorial Complex of Law Enforcement Officials [1] , opened in 1991 . Also nearby are a number of federal courthouse and municipal buildings, the US Department of Labor , the US Audit Office , Georgetown University Law Center ( Georgetown University Law School), the headquarters of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (serving the transportation needs of the Washington metropolitan area ), National Building Museum , US Engineering Headquarters. Passenger traffic - 3.762 million (as of 2010).
