History
In 1895, a graduate of the Transcaucasian teacher’s seminary, the teacher of the Erivan gymnasium, Firudin-bech Kocharlinsky, was appointed as a teacher in the Transcaucasian teacher’s seminary in Gori , where he began to head the Azerbaijan branch [3] since 1910 [2 ] .
In early May 1918, the population of the city of Kazakh and representatives of some rural societies of the Kazakh county filed a petition with the school district for the transfer of the Azerbaijani branch of the Transcaucasian Seminary from the city of Gori to the city of Kazakh. The government resolved this issue positively [4] . In the same year, the Azerbaijan branch of the Transcaucasian teacher’s seminary was relocated to the city of Kazakh [1] . Firudin-bek Kocharlinsky was appointed the director of the Kazakh teacher’s seminary [4] . The teaching staff of the seminary was staffed by former graduates of the Gori seminary [3] .
In creating his own teacher’s seminary in Azerbaijan, Kocharlinsky saw an opportunity to enroll in a significantly larger number of children, because in the conditions of the development of vehicles at that time, not every family ventured to let their son go to Gori [5] .
Now in the seminary building there is a secondary school No. 4 of the city of the Kazakh Republic of Azerbaijan.
