Medvedevskaya Signaling, Centralization and Blocking Distance (ШЧ-3) is a structural unit of the October Directorate of Infrastructure - a structural unit of the Central Directorate of Infrastructure - a branch of Russian Railways OJSC.
The Medvedev distance of signaling, centralization, blocking and communication of the Kalinin Railway was organized in the 1930s. The distance office was located at Medvedevo Station. The means of signaling on the hauls were a semi-automatic lock and an electric wand system . The control of the arrows at the stations was manual. In 1998, the Medvedevskaya signaling distance was eliminated, the serviced sites were transferred to the Ostashkovskaya and Bologovsky signaling distances. In connection with the preparation of the main passage of the Oktyabrskaya Railway to high speeds, in 2005 the Bologovskoy distance of signaling was entrusted with servicing exclusively the main course of the road, and the Medvedev distance of signaling was restored [1] . In 2011, on the basis of order No. 36 / Ts of May 2, 2012, the distance became part of the October Directorate of Infrastructure.
The Bologovsky distance of the signaling and signaling system serves automation devices in the Valdai (incl.) - Bologoe-Moskovskoye (exclusive) - Sonkovo , Sonkovo - Ovinishche II , Ovinishche II - Vesyegonsk , Ovinishche II - Dynino , Sonkovo - border with the Northern railway , Sonkovo - Savelovo - the border with the Moscow railway , Kalyazin-Post - Uglich , Bologoe-Polotsk - Nazimovo , Soblago - Torzhok . The distance is 822.3 km [2] .
The head of the race is Sergey Mikhailovich Kirshin, the staff of the enterprise totals 137 people. The distance office is located at the Bologoe-Moskovskoe station [3] . One of the distance managers was Ivan Vasilyevich Mankovsky , Hero of Socialist Labor (1943).
