Content
History
Founded in 1900 [2] as one of the key stations of the Circum-Baikal Railway .
After the construction of the CER, the station became the starting point on the Mysovaya - Manchuria line . A customs outpost and a resettlement medical-stopping point were built at the station [3] .
In 1905, revolutionary Ivan Babushkin was shot at the station.
In 2012, the construction of a new station complex began, the completion of works is scheduled for 2017 [4]
On August 5, 2017, on the eve of the Railway Worker's Day, a new station was opened at the Mysovaya Station of the East-Siberian Railway. The station building is a modern two-storey building with a total area of over 1,100 m², which is several times larger than its predecessor, the station built in 1908. To create comfortable conditions in the building, all the necessary facilities for passengers are provided: waiting rooms of various comfort, ticket offices, as well as recreation rooms, including separate ones for passengers with children, a medical center.
