Early years and education
Jupp was born in the large English city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne into the family of a clergyman of the United Reformed Church . He spent most of his childhood in London . He received his education in three independent schools in Hampstead , Windsor and Rutland , after which he studied at the University of Edinburgh , where he studied theology .
During his time at Edinburgh University, he often took part in the pantomimes of the local theater.
Career
Jupp's acting career began in 2001, when he played a shoe salesman in the television series Revolver .
In 2007, he appeared in the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix , playing a television meteorologist .
In January 2016, together with actress Catherine Tate, he played a major role in the comedy Do Not Disturb .
At the time of 2017, Jopp's filmography has more than fifty appearances in films and TV shows.
Personal life
Jupp has a spouse named Rachel, whom he met while studying at Edinburgh University . The couple have five children.
