Biography
John was fascinated by music since childhood, when he sang in the church choir under the guidance of his mother. Soon after, he picked up the guitar and bass, which he played in various cover bands at school with his friend Taylor Hawkins (currently the drummer of Foo Fighters ). Hawkins gave John the nickname "Juano", which has survived to this day.
After school, Davison visited Seattle's Art Institute, where he met with Sky Cries Mary. He recorded with them and participated in a tour throughout the 1990s.
In 1998, in Seattle, John met his future wife. In 2001, they briefly moved to Brazil . Living there, Davison played bass with Ronald Augusto .
In 2009, members of Glass Hammer heard John sing and asked him to join them. John recorded four albums with Glass Hammer.
