Biography
Cage graduated from the University of California, San Diego . During training, he set a university record for the number of rebounds made and became the second most successful team in history [1] . In the 1984 NBA draft, he was selected in the first round at number 14. For 15 seasons in the NBA, he played for five different clubs: Los Angeles Clippers , Seattle Supersonics , Cleveland Cavaliers , Philadelphia 76 and New Jersey Nets .
The best season for Cage was 1987/88 , when he made an average of 13 rebounds per game and became the leader of the rebound association. His opponent in the fight for this title was Charles Oakley , who played for the Chicago Bulls . To win the title, Cage needed to make 28 rebounds in the last game of the regular season. In the game against Seattle Supersonics, he managed to make 30 rebounds and win the title [2] .
