Story
Yves Klein is the daughter of wealthy Connecticut parents and Sam Klein's wife. She has the gift of clairvoyance . She is able to see other people's pain and fear. This gift is rather a curse for her. He brings mother Eve to suicide and causes the estrangement of her husband. In the hope of reunion, Eve moves from her Connecticut estate to Sam’s new home in Raven Lake, New York , where she is immediately overtaken by visions of a mutilated dying woman - the work of the local sociopath Adam Fuller, MD, whose eyes are (“ empty ” ... dead ... glass. Like doll eyes ") betray his utter inability to sympathize with others, the result of a long-standing childhood trauma: Fuller kills in the vain hope of feeling sorry for his victims. Eve's call to the police brings her to the slaughter department legend Dave Latowski, who takes her to the psychiatrist Terence Banner, whose patient is Fuller. When at the party, Banner makes Fuller understand that Eve - whose identity he does not reveal - saw the killer in her visions, the mad doctor of medicine, begins a terrible hunt for psychics, torturing and killing Banner, then the local journalist and his wife, just to get the name and the address of Eve. Meanwhile, at Banner’s funeral, Latowski notices Fuller’s puppet eyes like Ken and realizes that he is a killer, but cannot arrest him before he abducts Eve and takes her to the house where her childhood passed. Here, Eve is visited by visions of bullying a child, who turned Fuller into a maniac. [one]
