Biography
R. A. Fayzullin was born on August 4, 1943 in the village of Yulsubino, Rybno-Slobodsky District, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. By nationality - Tatar .
He graduated from the philological faculty of the Kazan State University (1965), graduate school at the Institute of Language, Literature and Art. G. Ibragimova AS RT.
Having entered the literature early (in the 1960s he was the youngest member of the USSR Writers' Union in the country), R.A. Fayzullin for 45 years of active creative activity made a significant contribution to the development of multinational poetry.
Since the 1960s, the work of R. A. Fayzullin has always been the focus of attention of the literary community, hundreds of articles and studies have appeared in the central and republican press about it. He has published more than fifty books in Russian, Tatar, Bashkir and other languages, their total circulation is about a million copies.
Since 1965 a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR .
In 1968-1972 - Head of the Almetyevsk branch of the Writers' Union of the TASSR.
In 1972-1976 - Deputy Chairman of the JV TASSR.
In the years 1976-1989. - professional writer.
Since 1989 - Chief Editor of Kazan Utlary magazine.
From 1990–1995 People's Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Honorary member of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
He was a delegate to a number of congresses of writers of the RSFSR and the USSR, was elected to the governing bodies of the Writers' Union of the USSR and the RSFSR.
Poems, poems and journalism of the poet were repeatedly translated into the languages of the peoples of Europe and Asia. The work of R. A. Faizullin is well known in Italy, England, France, Syria, Hungary, Mongolia and other countries. His name and work were included in the multi-volume Russian anthologies, textbooks, encyclopedias. Some samples of his works are also included in the “Library of World Literature”.
